Ken, I now have a 98 Honda Shadow and I found out about this reading the Shadow web site. From what I've read the dialajet has been updated and has settings for stock, and any combination of new pipes and air filters. I think we all know how lean our bikes come from the factory so I would imagine the stock pipe and air filter setting would help right off of the bat. Most of us are making pipe and air filter mods and this I believe would alleviate the need to rejet since those two mods will make an already lean running bike that much more lean. To answer your other question- yes I am planning on trying it but not sure when. John
